My name is Kemah!

Meet Kemah! This sweet 8-year-old calico is looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly thrive. She was adopted as a kitten from Austin Animal Center and has been a beloved companion ever since.

Due to a recent conflict with my older male cat, Kemah has been feeling stressed, and unfortunately, she redirected some of that stress toward my son. I intervened, and in the process, she scratched me. Her behavior seems to be a result of the tension in the household, and she would likely do best in a home without young children or dogs.

Kemah is an affectionate girl who loves being petted, especially around her neck, and she enjoys playful sessions with toys. When it's time to wind down, she can be found soaking up the sun or curling up at the foot of the bed. She is an indoor-only cat and has no health issues.
