Hi, I’m Rosa! I’m a 3-year-old sweetheart who’s all about cuddles, love, and being with my favorite people. I get along great with other dogs, but have not been around cats or kids to know how I would do with them. I am house trained and walk well on a leash also. I’m a calm and lovable girl, and I absolutely thrive when I’m snuggling up next to you on the couch or just hanging out by your side. I’ve got a bit of crate anxiety, so I do best when I’m not closed in one. I can get a little vocal when I’m anxious, so living in a home with my own space would really help me feel at ease when my humans are away. I’m happiest when I’m free to roam and relax with you. I’m super chill, and I don’t mind a little alone time as long as I can see my people and feel safe. If you’re retired or work from home, we’d be a perfect match — I’m your loyal companion, ready to keep you company all day long. I adore all kinds of treats and toys (yes, please!), and I’m a big fan of car rides — there’s something so exciting about cruising around with my people! I’m a gentle, soft little girl, and I promise you, I’ll melt your heart with my love and sweetness. Our fees depend on age of pet but include all relevant shots, vetting, micro-chip and spay/neuter unless a vet recommends not doing.

We do require a contract, home and vet check. All animals currently in your home must also be spayed/neutered unless a vet recommends otherwise.

Cause for Canines is a 501(c)(3)volunteer based all-breed dog rescue founded in Central Ohio.

We are committed to the rescue of homeless dogs, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances or those in danger of abuse or neglect, and dogs in shelters that are at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission is to find safe, loving, committed and permanent homes for the dogs we take into rescue.
