Hope Angel is a 6 year old chocolate female dachshund and she weighs 14 pounds.  She and her sister, Opal, lost their home due to the owners health.  Hope is a loving dog that just needs a little patience at the beginning because she is shy to new people and things.  Once she is comfortable, she is super sweet and is perfect for anyone looking for a lap dog that loves attention. She loves to eat and cuddle on the couch.  She doesn’t really care about toys and she does not need another dog for a playmate.  She is the perfect dog for a single dog home.  She is good about using the puppy pad and if she had it her way she would never go outside.  Hope would prefer a quieter home where she can be lazy and cuddle often.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
