My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Teddy & Peanuts: A Bonded Duo Seeking a Forever Home 🐾

Introducing Teddy and Peanuts, a bonded pair of grey and white cats who came to us after their owner sadly passed away. Teddy is a male grey and white shorthair, while Peanuts is a male grey and white longhair tabby. Though Peanuts is quite shy, he warms up beautifully once he feels safe, and both are incredibly kind and always eager for pets. These gentle souls are looking for a loving home where they can stay together and share their affection.

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
