My name is Pumba!

Hi! I'm Pumba! I'm an approximately 8 month old, male, Aussie/Heeler mix who weighs about 33 lbs. I was found in the Caruth Subdivision by Phelps Lake on 01/05/2025 and never reclaimed. I came in with my buddy Timon, but if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I am a young guy and will need a family who has the patience to train me to be the best family companion I can be! I am currently learning to walk on a leash and basic commands. I will need help with house training and crate training. I LOVE GRUB! Food is my vice and I love all kinds. Because food is my ultimate passion, I will need my own space to be fed. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date, and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
