My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Abra! This good boy often has an adorably thoughtful look on his face and a swirly cowlick on his neck — it’s like he has the cutest perpetual bedhead!

Abra is a sweet young cat who can be shy at first, so he needs some time to warm up in a new home. He loves tasty treats and playing with wand toys, so those are great ways to help him settle in! He asks for some time and patience, but it’s incredibly rewarding to earn the trust of this friendly feline. Once he makes a new friend, he is the most loving and sweet kitty around!

Abra is looking for a calm and patient home. He would benefit from an adopter who will continue working with him on training exercises to help him build confidence. He is also quite social with other cats, so a cat buddy to play with in the home helps him feel more comfortable. He is good buddies with his foster brother, Presto. They both came to us as solo kittens, and Presto has been a great help for Abra as they settled into their foster home together. Abra would love to be adopted together with Presto, or into a home with another friendly and playful cat.
