Meet Colby Jack! This big boy is as sweet, gentle and affectionate as they come. He loves to hang out in your lap and soak up all of the love you have to share! He has gotten along well with cats, small dogs, and kiddos in the past. He's pretty much everyone's best friend! Colby Jack loves to survey the world from the top of his cat tree, chase around toys, or tuck into a bowl of food. He loves to safely explore the great outdoors from the comfort of a catio, and could maybe even be talked into trying out a cat harness or stroller! Colby Jack can't wait to meet you, come see him today!

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.

Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.

Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
