My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Krystall. I am a sweet kitty who loves to cuddle with her humans. I am a very chilled laid-back cat. I enjoy laying in a good sunspot or on a cat tree looking outside the window. I will chatter at the birds outside and when they get intimidated I will bounce off the cat tree for a good stretch. I am a pillow hog so it would preferred if I had my own pillow so I don't have to take yours. Once in a while I will let out mighty roar when I trap a sock. I need to let everyone know what good sock hunter I am. I get along great with other kittens, cats and dogs of all sizes.
If you would like more information about me please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
Thanks.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
