My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelly is a 12 year old sweet senior.  She's a red short hair purebred Dachshund.

She has an amazing personality, and loves just about everyone.  A big cuddler and, of course, sleeps in the big bed.  When she came to us from the shelter, her legs were rough probably from allergies.  She also has numerous skin masses.

Nelly adores playing with her squeaky toys, but her absolute favorite are the squeaky balls.  She's really good at fetch...and will even bring the ball right back to you!

She is pee pad trained, but is learning to go potty outside (thanks to her foster brother).  She looks forward to her daily walks, which is also helping with her potty training.  She gets along with other dogs her size.  Don't know about larger dogs or cats.
