Meet Myrtle! She is an adorable seven-week-old Poodle/Chihuahua mix that is a natural bundle of energy, always ready to play and explore. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and she's always on the lookout for a new adventure. Despite her independent streak, Myrtle is also fiercely loyal and will stand by your side through thick and thin. She has a goofy sense of humor that will keep you laughing, and her playful antics are endless. But what sets Myrtle apart is her friendliness. She loves everyone she meets and is always eager to make new friends. Myrtle is a dog who will bring happiness and laughter into your life. Her energy and zest for life are contagious, and her loyalty and friendship are unparalleled. She is great with kids and other dogs of all sizes. She has been in a foster home with a stay at home mom and an eight-year-old child, so she's very well socialized with humans as well as pets. While she’s never met a cat, she has met chickens, and enjoys playing with her foster families Golden Doodle, as well as her eight siblings. If you're looking for a companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your life with joy, Myrtle is the dog for you. Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
