Pros:
*House trained
*Good on leash
*Loves car rides
*Has done okay with other dogs her size
*Has done good with older kids (5 and up)
*Knows sit, stay, come, leave it, Home(bed), and back off/get
*Very affectionate and calm
*Enjoys spending time with her people
*Will sleep anywhere but prefers to sleep with her people
*Loves playing fetch
*Does not do well in a kennel- prefers to free roam with lots of chew toys

Cons:
*No cats or other smaller animals, she has a high prey drive
*No very little kids, she is highly interested in them

More about this shelter

The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.

Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.

HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
