My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tate (a.k.a. Tater Tot): The Perfect Blend of Class and Goofiness!

Looking for a best friend who’s equal parts distinguished gentleman and playful goofball? Meet Tate, the charming pup who’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and snuggles to your life!

Tate’s Stats:

  • New People: Good

  • Children: Good

  • Food Removal: Good (As long as you don’t mess with his pumpkin purée!)

  • Dogs: Good (He loves playing with his older foster sibling.)

  • Cats & Other Pets: Unknown

Personality: Outgoing, friendly, curious, funny, and playful—a total heart-stealer!

Energy Level: Medium—he’s all about balance: play hard, nap harder.

Potty Training Status:
He’s doing okay! He’ll go when you take him outside but still needs a little help with consistency.

Leash Training: Not started yet, but he’s eager to learn!

Tate’s Special Features:
Tate is a snuggle enthusiast with a soft spot for heated blankets. His hobbies include chasing his tail, pouncing on leaves, and pretending he doesn’t like the cold (until it’s time for an outdoor adventure).

A Day in the Life of Tater Tot:
Start the day with a game of fetch or some leaf-pouncing fun, follow it up with snacks (pumpkin purée and cheese are top-tier treats), and wind down with cuddles on a warm blanket. He’s also kennel-savvy, sleeping 4-6 hours at night with no accidents—what a good boy!

Why Tate Could Be Your Perfect Match:
With his playful nature, love of snuggles, and endless curiosity, Tate will bring so much love and joy to your home. Plus, who can resist a puppy named Tater Tot?

Adopt Tate Today!
Tate is ready to be your partner in crime, your cuddle buddy, and your ultimate pumpkin-purée taste-tester. Don’t wait—this little gentleman is eager to meet his forever family!

Share this post to help Tate find his furever home!

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events EVERY SATURDAY. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE FOR THE LOCATION AND DATES OF OUR NEXT ADOPTION EVENT. www.rmpuppyrescue.org

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)

RMPR and its directors have the right to refuse the adoption for any reason. Please see our website www.rmpuppyrescue.org for more details on how to adopt.

We appreciate your interest in our lovely rescues. If you would like to join our Puppy Brigade through volunteering or fostering one of our rescues, we would love to have you. Please visit our website for more details.
