Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chicken is a 1-year-old, 55-pound Dutch Shepherd with a heart as big as his name is quirky! This handsome boy had a rough start in life, but he’s now thriving in a loving foster home alongside multiple canine companions. His foster family says he’s a real sweetheart and a true people-pleaser who would do best in a forever home with one other dog to share his adventures with.
Chicken is incredibly smart and highly food-motivated, making him eager and open to training. He’s already mastered potty training and even rings a bell to let you know when it’s time to head outside! Talk about impressive!
An energetic and adventurous spirit, Chicken loves the great outdoors and would make the perfect hiking buddy. Whether it’s exploring trails or playing fetch in the yard, this guy is always up for some fun.
While Chicken has so many wonderful qualities, he does have a fear of being closed in a crate. He’ll need a patient adopter who’s willing to work with him on this and help him feel secure.
If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and active companion who’s ready to fill your life with love and laughter, Chicken might just be your perfect match! 🐕💖

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.
