To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html

Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.

Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).

Blanche is a 5-month-old, female calico kitten that has been in foster
care since she was only 2 days old. She was rescued from a colony of
cats and kittens where her mother was not caring for her or her
sisters. Blanche and her sisters had a rough start, being so small and
not having their mother to care for them; two of her siblings didn't
make it past 3 weeks old. When you see her now you would have no idea
that was where she started.

Blanche is a ball of energy, playful and curious, and a
sweet purring cuddle bug. She is cautious but loves to explore and find
new things to play with, she loves her toys! Blanche is also a
sweetheart, purrs like crazy, and loves affection. She has been around
other kittens, adult cats, dogs, and an older child and overall does
very well. She can be skittish with dogs but with a slow introduction, she
would do well.

Blanche is a wonderful, well-rounded girl who cannot wait to find her
forever home!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Complete our no-obligation Adoption Application, which will be sent to our Adoption Coordinator for review.

2.
Interview

A HOM volunteer will reach out to you to discuss your application within 24-48 hours after an application has been submitted.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, you sign a HOM Adoption Contract where you agree to provide a safe healthy environment & yearly wellness visits from your vet

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption Fees: Kittens up to six months $125 or 2 for $200 Kittens over six months $100 or 2 for $250 Cats one year or older $50

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, 1st vaccination, worming, and testing for FIV and Feline leukemia virus (FeLV).
