Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy s being surrendered because his owner fell and broke her hips and is now just to strong for her. So we have been taking care of him in our home for about 3 months now. But, we just don't have the time to commit to him to make him a better dog.
Buddy is 4 yrs old and is crate and house trained. He loves to snuggle up behind your legs and snuggle with you when your watching tv and is very loving.
However, Buddy, does need a strong hand and some retraining. He has never been properly trained on a leash. He does get along with other animals, but I would recommend him to start off with no other dogs in the home. Buddy, gets very protective and like he doesn't want to share me with my other dog and that has caused some issues. The same with my grandkids he seems fine with them, but he was never raised with kids. So he seems nervous sometimes around them. I think with time and some training and socialization he would be fine with other dogs, cats and kids.
