Kit was found in a backyard and was surrendered to a local veterinarian’s office. This baby was alone, after his feline mother had succumbed to an animal attack. Born in early July, 2024, it took Kit quite a while to learn how to eat on his own. And boy was he a picky eater. Spoiled rotten with food, Kit became quite attached to his person. This tiger is now a star soccer player as he bats around his toys. He gets along well with the other foster cats and would love a companion in his new environment.
Kit is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
