Newt has been with his parents for 8 years now but recently they had a second baby and Newt seems to have claimed him, not allowing their first child near him. It's not safe for the kids but other than the change in family enviroment, he has been an excellent dog.
Newt knows come, place, stay, sit, heal, and otherwise is obedient and a very good dog. He isn't crate trained because we haven't needed to, but I'm sure he'd do fine in a crate. He is house trained.
We have spent a lot of time and money on training him and he has been a great dog. He is e-collar trained and very responsive to commands because of it.
He was fine with his companion dog but is not a dog park dog. No cats for Newt.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative
If you have any questions, please email Rebecca at luncefordenator@gmail.com
To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
