My name is Cayenne!

Notes from foster family: Cayenne is a sweet, shy kitten. She has made enormous progress in foster care, from a wild, spicy semi-feral cat to a kitty who will purr while being held and cuddled. She is even sweet and calm while getting her nails trimmed and while getting vaccines.
She is much better than she was when she arrived at the shelter but she still needs calm, quiet, intentional socialization - lots of treats and gentle interactions to keep building her confidence. She does still hiss sometimes to remind people to go slowly and gently with her. She must be adopted with another kitten or into a house with friendly cats. She definitely takes her cues from other cats and she will thrive much better in a new home if she has kitty companions. She is almost always cuddled up with her little brother Pepper, a cute, sweet wobbly guy.
