I’m named America because I’m big and beautiful and strong! I am also one of the sweetest creatures that you’ll ever meet. Although I do like to play, even rough house sometimes, long snuggles are where I’m at. I’ll melt in your arms, and you’ll know you are loved. I’m also smart like my mom. She was a survivor on the streets until she got taken home by my foster grandma who gave me, my mom, and my siblings the opportunity to thrive. I need consistency with potty & behavior training but I do my best. I would love to be adopted so I can have a home of my own, my foster mom says that I’m a Terrier mix, and I was born on 9-27-24. Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.
When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
