Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I’m Zak! I’m a big boy with a lot to say and even more spunk, even though I haven’t quite figured out how to walk yet. When I get excited, my legs go so fast that I spin myself in circles—pretty impressive, right? I absolutely love playing with my siblings, and my favorite toy is this awesome tube we can crawl through and wrestle in.
Every day, I’m working hard to build muscle strength and improve my balance, and I’m making progress! Like my siblings, I need a little help with things like getting around, eating, and going potty. Sometimes I have accidents if my foster mom doesn’t hear me calling for a bathroom break, but she’s always there to help me out.
Recently, I started using a stand-up feeding station so I don’t topple over while I eat—it’s still new to me, but I’m getting the hang of it. When it’s nap time, I’m the ultimate cuddle buddy—there’s no one cuter to snuggle with, if I do say so myself.
Because I have Cerebellar Hypoplasia, it’s uncertain how much I’ll learn as I grow, but I surprise everyone (including myself) with something new every day. Life is an adventure, and I’m ready to keep exploring it with my forever family! 🐾

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling (or mom) or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Zak will need to be adopted with their sibling, Bettie or mom, Maven.
The adoption fee for a special needs kitten is $100.
Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!
By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.
All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:
FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated
Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.
