My name is Sammy!

Sammy is 6 years old and was abandoned by his original owner and temporarily given to a friend who was not able to afford to keep him. We have been caring for him for a few months and wish we could keep him, but we cannot keep him because of the number of pet restrictions. Sammy is a very sweet and for the most part mellow boy. He loves to run and play outdoors and go for walks which we are not able to provide. He is house trained and will let you know if he needs to go out; but he prefers to live indoors. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with them. He would enjoy having another dog around as a playmate. I don't think he would hurt a cat, but he likes to bark at them and chase them. He needs a good home where someone can play with him and take him for walks.
