Meet Hazelnut!
Hazel may be small, but she is bursting with personality and spunk. This little dynamo is fierce, brave, and always ready to take on new adventures. Her curiosity knows no bounds—if there is something new to explore, Hazel is the first to investigate. But don’t let her boldness fool you; she is just as loving as she is fearless.
When she is not busy conquering the world around her, Hazel is all about snuggles. Whether she is curling up for a cozy nap, nestled in your arms, or happily being carried around, she is content as long as she is close to her people. With her petite, handheld size, Hazel is the perfect companion for someone looking for a feisty little friend who is equal parts adventurous and affectionate.
Hazel’s journey started in an alley, where she was found alongside her six siblings. Now, she is thriving in foster care and waiting for the perfect family to call her own. She was born on October 9, 2024, and is being fostered in Texas.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).
Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:
