Meet Max and Red Fern Alum Peanut! Two best buds who are in a tough spot- their Dad, a good friend of Red Fern, is very sick and wants to ensure his boys are taken care of. Max is in the twilight of his life and needs a warm heart to welcome him, a soft bed to rest and to live out his days surrounded by care and love. Peanut will keep everyone light and entertained!

The last pic is Max. We are hoping Max and Peanut can be adopted together so that Max has a familiar friend to help him through losing the home he's known all his life.

Max and Peanut are being fostered in Denver, Colorado.

Submit Application

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption

Meet the Pet

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet

3.
Approve Application

If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application

4.
Take the Pet Home

After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home

Additional adoption info

We offer foster-to-adopt period of 2 weeks before finalizing the adoption to ensure that the animal is the right fit for you.
