My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Choco Brownie

We call him Brownie for short.

Brownie is a little over a year old. He is a chihuahua mix that is neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped.

Choco Brownie is a bit timid at first and may let you know he's scared with a bark. After he smells you a bit, he gets a bit more comfortable and will curl up on your lap. Just wait till you feel how soft he is too!

He gets along with all sized dogs and humans, we are unsure of cats.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
