Hello, I’m Mork! I’m a 2-year-old male Bichon Frise/Poodle mix, and I weigh just 6 lb. but don’t let my size fool you! My heart is as big as my curls are soft, and I’m ready to bring joy and love into your life.  I’ve had a tough start in an illegal breeding farm and was rescued from a challenging situation in Korea.  Life there was uncertain and scary, but thanks to kind rescuers, I’ve been given a second chance to find happiness. Now, I’m looking for a forever family to share my fresh start with.  I’m a playful, loving little guy who adores being close to my humans. Whether it’s lounging by your side, going for walks, or simply enjoying some quiet time together, I’m happiest when I’m with you. I also get along well with other dogs, making me a great addition to a home with furry friends.  Despite my past, I’ve got a resilient spirit and an open heart, ready to embrace new adventures with my special someone.  I’d love a home where I can feel safe, loved, and appreciated. As a rescued dog, I may need a little patience to settle in, but once I do, I’ll be your most loyal and affectionate companion. To help make my transition as smooth as possible, our experienced pet rescue trainer is available for guidance.  My adoption fee is $1,495 (tax-deductible and supports future rescues) and includes Spay/Neuter, DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations, Deworming and Heartworm testing, Microchip, Boarding fees, health certificate and transport from Korea to Seattle.  For my safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.  By adopting me, you’re not just changing my life—you’re helping save other dogs who are still waiting for their chance. Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, uses your support to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs like me.  Email admin@gingerspetrescue.org to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations toward veterinary care at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated and help make rescues like mine possible.  If you’re ready for a loyal, loving companion who will brighten your days, look no further. I’m Mork, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step to adopting a pet from Ginger’s Pet Rescue is completing our Adoption Application or submit via our Contact Form on our website. This application will allow us to know more about your family, what kind of pet will fit best and your home, and whether you will be a good match for one of our dogs. Please include the dog(s) you are interested in on the application. We review applications upon receipt and will reply as soon as possible, usually within 1-2 days.

Adoption fees are listed on each pet and depend on a number of the factors. Adoption fees are what allow us to continue our rescue, as our primary source of funding.

If for any reason the dog does not work out, we are willing to take the dog back and refund your adoption fee less a $100 rehoming fee.

More about this rescue

Ginger’s Pet Rescue is one of the largest non-profit pet rescue organizations in Washington state, and we specialize in saving Death Row Dogs. Our mission is to give homeless animals with no hope the life they deserve through rescue, foster and adoption. We rely on a large network of fosters in the Seattle area, who provide our dogs with love and care during transition from rescue to adoption. We do not have a physical shelter location; to meet the dogs in our rescue, contact us to connect with a foster or join us at an adoption event!

Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We rely solely on the support from adoption fees and donations to help us provide for the ~100+ dogs in our rescue at any given time.

How We Rescue

We take in dogs from local families in need, in state and out of state shelters, and we also work with overseas rescue groups on occasion. We do not discriminate – we rescue dogs small and big, old and young, healthy and sick, purebred and Heinz 57! Our belief is that every dog deserves a forever home.
Our History

Ginger’s Pet Rescue was founded in 2006 by Ginger Luke after saving one Dachshund’s life turned into a life-long endeavor. The organization is dedicated to providing great care for our dogs and adoption efforts!
