Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Some dogs come into our program with instant notoriety and rise to celebrity status quickly. Bruce is definitely one of them! As a popular pup at Saving Grace, Bruce would love to give back to their community by helping other Saving Grace dogs with major medical needs, senior dogs, nursing moms, and those that need life-saving Heartworm treatments. Through his adoption, Bruce will ask their new family to assist them by making a donation of $500 (tax deductible) in addition to the adoption fee ($395) to help his friends in need.
Bruce is a little love-bug! He will follow you round and reach up for a hug, kind words, or a long pat. Bruce is quiet and calm, as well as soft and gentle. His favorite spot is right beside you on the couch where he can rest his head on your lap and give you a kiss. He just wants to be loved and to give you love! Bruce would be a great solo dog, yet he also gets along great with dogs of all sizes! He thoroughly enjoys running through the yard with his pup friends. Bruce sleeps through the night and only requires minimal reinforcement on his potty training in a new place. He also walks well on a leash. To top it all off, his foster parents have never heard him bark or seen him jump up on anyone -- he is a model pup! Bruce is a bit shy at first, but with a safe space and some love, he will open right up to you! Bruce is a perfect fun-sized guy who will steal your heart with his sweet face and wonderful temperament. Make an appointment to meet him!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.
If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org
Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.
Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue
Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
