My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $500, plus taxes, bonded pair, bonded with Sylvester
Location: CSHS Foster Home

Meet Tweety. To see Tweety and his brother Sylvester together will surely bring a smile to your face and it is very easy to quickly be attached to them. They are easy to tell apart.
Sylvester has the black nose and Tweety has white. They such lively and fun kittens to be with. They are a busy pair with all their kitten activities and playtime. They play great together. As many kittens are, they are fond of the wand toys with a string and a squirmy worm on end or a feather. They also like batting around the little things. When they calm down they are both very sweet. The are confident kittens that aren’t shy. Sylvester may be just ever so slightly shyer to new things but acclimates quickly. Even though they play hard as kittens, Tweety loves his brother Sylvester and needs to be adopted with him.

Sylvester is neutered, microchipped and is current with vaccinations.

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
