My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Luv and his many housemates(forty kitties) were brought to us as their owner had too many cats...Most of them were shy or scared and took time to come out of their shell. Luv is usually found in hiding, in his bedroom, where he lays cozily until I open his door. Like an arrow and usually after a little hiss, he darts to the back of the cubby and waits crouched or as tall as an I, for my next move. Treats usually are not a bribe for him but lately, a laser toy or a feather wand do catch his attention. This is new and like with shy or standoffish young kids, play can go a long way. Luv actually tackles the feather quite a bit and even moves forward in order to catch it. Same with the laser beam. I know there is hope for him. He is a work in progress but strong with the great progress we observed with a number of his siblings, I really think that in truly experienced hands, Luv could become a lovely pet. Luv is waiting at the Manhattan Care Center for his chance to be loved and shine!
