Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hiya friend, my name is Jake! I`m not sure if you can tell from my pictures, but I`m kinda a big guy...
So here`s the thing. I`m just gonna be honest about it. I.LOVE.FOOOOOOD! I mean, what dog doesn`t? Especially, what BEAGLE doesn`t? We are all quite gluttonous about all those delicious tastes!
I used to get tasty human food, and I would sing the song of my people demanding the good stuff. I just kept eating more and more until BAM! I became 60 lbs! I didn`t even notice what was happening!! I was too distracted by the delicious food!!! The doc here tells me that even though I`m a cutie, I need to drop some weight. So that`s what I`m hoping my next home can help me with.
I`m a nice boy, with an interesting personality. My previous owner sadly passed away, and I never really got the socialization I should`ve as a young doggo. I`m not used to other people or dogs, but I`m willing to make new friends if you can help show me the ropes? I might be a bit conflicted with attention or people loving up on me as humans do, but again, it`s just unfamiliar to me and I need some proper exposure.
I am looking for a home (not an apartment! I have a beautiful Beagle voice but I promise your neighbours will disagree), and I`d like a fenced yard so I have freedom to do all my Beagle sniffing. I would like a respectful and calm home to open up in, with loving people. I have a silly personality, and a loving heart.
I`m really excited to start this new journey with someone! Is that person you??
