Petunia’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. This senior Chihuahua was discovered in an alley, covered in flies and ticks, and in desperate need of care. We rushed her to the ER, where she received the immediate help she needed, including a plan for a dental and spay. While we don’t know what Petunia’s past holds, we do know her future is looking brighter than ever—and it’s only up from here!
This tiny girl is nothing short of amazing. Petunia may be small in size, but her heart is bursting with love. She craves gentle affection and has an incredible way of making anyone feel special. Her sweet, soulful eyes tell the story of a girl who’s ready to leave her tough days behind and embrace the love and kindness she’s always deserved.

Adoption fees vary between $165-$350. That includes all medical vetting, UTD vaccines, spay/neuter, lifetime microchip, an escape proof harness lead and collar & tag. Also, since some our dogs are such a huge flight risk, there may be additional steps needing to happen before the adoption is completed.

More about this rescue
We are a small group of passionate animal advocates that specialize in the humane capture and rescue of stray, fearful and injured animals from the streets of Maricopa County. We also assist pet owners as well as other rescue groups to recover their lost animals. We provide our dogs with a safe place to decompress, learn to trust and receive medical treatment until they are ready to find a forever home. The dogs that we take in are typically more difficult to place due to being fearful and high flight risks. Our animals require special adopters who are patient, diligent and very precautionary in order to keep our "trap dogs" safe. These animals are our passion and we will always do what is best for every animal that crosses our path.
****We do not do out of state adoptions.****
