Meet Georgia! Georgia is about 2 years old, 15 lbs currently, and she likely has some chihuahua in her mix! She was found as a stray and was HW positive. She has been treated and is now ready for adoption! In her foster home, she is working on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+ and cats. She resource guards so could be an only dog or be adopted into a home with other dogs with an experienced owner.
Her foster says, `Georgia may have had a rough start to her short life, but you would never know it now. She has blossomed into a sweet, loving, fun girl. She has such a zest for life too. She joins doggy daycare every day, but it is more so she can be with her human than with the pups. She does run and play a little, and even will wrestle on occasion. She would be perfectly happy as an only dog too, so no worries there. She can keep herself busy with toys quite nicely, but would much rather snuggle up with her human and watch a movie.`
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 31st. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
