Hi there, I’m Aspen, a striking tuxie tabby with enchanting green-gold eyes and the cutest white socks and bib! My story at HART started as a tiny motherless wildling, and I was very sick when I arrived. Unfortunately, my early experiences with humans often meant medications and needles, which made me a bit wary of people. But things are looking up now—I’m feeling much better, and with the love and care of HART volunteers, I’m starting to see that humans aren’t so bad!
I’m curious and playful, and I love spending time with other cats and kittens. I’ve gone from hissing and hiding to bravely sniffing hands and even allowing a few gentle pets. I’m still learning to trust, but I know that with the right patient and loving human, I can blossom into the sweet companion I’m meant to be. If you have a soft spot for shy, curious kitties, maybe we could be a perfect match! I would do best in a home with another cat or kitten to make me feel safe and secure, and I’d love to go home with a kitten friend from HART. Will you give me the chance to become the wonderful companion I know I can be?
