Meet Koban. He's 1-1/2 yrs old, house trained, crate trained, neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He's a goofy boy who loves his person and adapts well to change. He's very smart and is making good progress on learning new commands. I adopted Koban from this site a few months ago but due to some health issues I'm going through, feel it would be best for him to find a home that can provide him with more attention, socializing and training. When I adopted him it became immediately apparent that his family hadn't socialized him with people or other animals at all. It does take him a few minutes of barking when new people arrive but he settles down quickly and is friendly after that. He is pretty good with my 6 yr old grandson but he's a big boy at 70 lbs and gets a little too excited sometimes. He'd probably do better in a home with children over the age of 10. This breaks my heart because I love him to death but I want him to have his best life possible.
