Hey, you wanna make this Buddy your pal? He'd love that too! This affectionate and social maven is the total package, the type of cat you could bring home to mom and then probably get into a fight with your mom when you try to bring him back home. Found as a stray, Buddy was being fostered for around a month before he came into PAWS and was a 5 star rated guest on his travel log. He spent time in that home around the resident cats and dogs and did well with all of them, so added to his already existing friendly and confident personality you have the recipe for the perfect companion to join pretty much any type of home!
Buddy did test positive for FIV during his initial care and check-ups with PAWS, so we would recommend additional testing to better confirm that. He could also use a dental cleaning in the near future for some gingivitis.
**FIV is specific to the feline species, and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. It is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered so mating is no longer an option! Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative as long as the cats get along without fighting.**

Adoption fees for cats and dogs include age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.
