Chase is a sweet young pup who loves playing with squeaky toys. This is a boy who will come show you his toy and then lean in for pets and more pets. He may be a teenage dog who is in need of a friend. Or he just really loves shoulder rubs. Good boy Chase has very much enjoyed social walks and playdates with other dogs. He could probably live with a canine friend using some management. He also could probably live with a dog savvy cat or children who can help with training. That is the thing with Chase. Here at the shelter, he is mastering walking nicely on a leash. Next is greeting people politely. He would still benefit from taking a manners class or two. Good thing he is smart, trainy and loves hot dogs. He was also trained to use pee pads, so full house training would still need to be done.
Chase is such a good boy and with a little work, would make a great family dog. You cannot help but fall in love with him a little when you meet him, so be prepared. Come see Chase at the MSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PM to 4:30PM.
