Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Fennel is a sweet, shy cat who’s looking for a peaceful and quiet place to call home. He’s a little nervous around new things and will need some time to get used to his new family. Fennel would do best in a home with older kids who can be gentle and patient with him. He doesn’t like loud noises or sudden movements, so a calm household would be perfect for him.
Though he’s a bit shy at first, Fennel is super sweet once he feels comfortable. He just needs a family that understands he’ll need time to come out of his shell. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving cat who will be a wonderful companion once he feels safe, Fennel might be the perfect match for you!
**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.
If you are viewing this through 24PetConnect by PetPlace or Adopt-A-Pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
