Hello there! My name is Bruiser, and I’m looking for my special forever family. Will you be the one to bring happiness into my life?
I didn’t have the best start in Roswell, New Mexico. I spent a lot of time in an outdoor kennel, without a cozy bed or the love of a family. Human interaction was rare, and life felt very lonely. But now, I’m in beautiful Colorado, and while I’m loving it here, I’m hoping to find a family who understands me – a deaf dog who’s been through a lot.
I have a little secret to share: sometimes, I act like a grumpy old man. But I promise there’s a good reason for that! You see, my hearing is very limited, so when I get startled and don’t know someone’s there, I might growl. I don’t mean to be scary – I’m just trying to protect myself.
Despite my tough past, I adore being loved and petted, especially when someone rubs behind my ears. I dream of a family who will be patient and understanding, one that will take the time to help me feel secure and cherished.
🌟 **Here’s what makes me special:**
- I absolutely LOVE going for walks! The fresh air, the exciting smells – it makes me feel like a young pup again. When my foster dad grabs my leash, I can barely contain my excitement.
- I’m a big fan of toys and, oh, do I love food! Treats are my favorite, and I’ve even learned to sit politely for them.
- I know how to use a doggie door and am eager to learn more – I’m a smart boy who just needs a little guidance.
Look into my eyes, and you’ll see a soul longing for love and companionship. I believe the right family can help me blossom into the happiest dog ever. Could that be you?
