My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE IN ORANGE COUNTY ONLY!

Meet Theo! While he's not 100% ready to be adopted yet, he will be ready to go to a home after he is neutered on 1/17/25!

Theo came to us from the Riverside Shelter. At just 16lbs, he was found as a stray. Sadly, this boy undoubtedly had a family as he already knows sit and down. He wants to please and listens well to direction.

Theo is currently being treated for some skin issues caused by a flea infestation. Don't worry, his fur will grow back and he will be the most handsome boy with the cutest little underbite!

While he can be a little shy and unsure of new people and situations at first, it doesn't take him long to warm up at all! This sweetheart LOVES people and is a velcro dog. He'd really enjoy a home with a family that is around most of the time. He also very much appreciates the company of dog friends! He also loves to be outside and go on walks. He gets so excited to explore!

Theo is working on mastering potty training and crate training in his foster home. He would do best in a home that can be patient with him and continue his training. In return, he will provide you with all his love and try to make you smile every day.

If you are interested in adopting Theo once he is ready to move into a furever home, please fill out an adoption application on our website!

More about this rescue

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. We are entirely foster-based and are no-kill. Our mission is to help as many homeless dogs and cats as possible find loving and compassionate adoptive families.

We accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and being advocates for each animal that comes under our care. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of as many animals as we can.

Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is named in honor of our founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to numerous dogs and was a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
