From the foster: Johnny is as sweet as can be! If you’re looking for a lap warmer, look no further! Johnny loves to play, but he loves to snuggle even more. As soon as you get to his level, you’ll have at least a chin, if not a full body, on your lap. If his face is close enough to yours, you’ll drown in kisses! He is a total lover, but he also does well when he needs to be independent. In a crate with his brother, they slept through the night with one break in the middle to go potty and then immediately going back to sleep right after. He whines a little bit quietly, but gives up pretty quickly. Johnny was fostered with his brother as well as four resident cats and a mini goldendoodle, all of which he was amazing with. He loves our resident dog, but didn’t want much to do with the cats, especially once he saw one put his brother in his place. Potty training is coming along well for an 8-week-old puppy! He has done a great job at finding the pee pad inside, only not using it once so far. He whines to let you know he needs to go outside, so as long as you follow a consistent potty schedule and listen to his cues, he’ll learn fast! Johnny is seriously the sweetest puppy of them all and I’m so excited for a family to get to welcome him into their home and hearts!
