My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yolanda is just a cute fluffy puppy of about 3 months of age. Her short history is unknown but her future looks much brighter now! This cutie was picked up by a caring partner of ours working diligently to help the plight of dogs on the reservation where she works. We are very happy to have gotten her and get her up to date on vaccinations and look for a caring home for her. She will likely get to be about medium to medium/large at full growth. She is friendly and has puppy energy so will do well in a home that will be active and go for walks/hikes and possibly skiing or snowshoeing! This girl is not yet fixed due to her young age so she will go out as a foster-to-adopt (co-owned with TRACS) until her surgery is completed in about 3-4 months. In order to comply with Montana state laws, we do have to have the new owner leave a $125 deposit as a guarantee that they will comply with getting her fixed on or before the date supplied on the signed contract. This deposit can easily be done by check (shredded once proof of spay provided) or reversal of charge. We also provide the foster with a certificate for $50 off of the spay surgery. Adoption staff will be happy to discuss if any questions. Her adoption fee is $250 which helps us cover the costs of the micro-chip we provided and vaccines and other medications to get her up to date and healthy! If interested in this cutie, please head over to our website pet-TRACS.com and click the link for the adoption application. Once that is filled out and submitted, our adoptions team will review and reach out to you via text to confirm and advise next steps! Thank you!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.

TRACS has been in operation for 7 years and we have taken in and adopted out 3000 animals (as of 11/1/2013). We are mostly volunteers and pride ourselves on the fact that we have a new facility (small and humble but very comfortable) and have had for 2 years. We are a small budget organization and we receive no municipal or county support. We totally depend on donations to keep up our good work. We accept all donations of food, bedding, litter, or anything else that folks like to give us. Of course, monetary contributions are very much needed and are fully tax deductible.
