My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is a giant baby. Hes nervous around new people and can take a while getting to know you but once he does hell become your shadow and personal weighted blanket. Hes incredibly playful and LOVES to chase balls, however he wont bring them back

Like many GSDs he has some anxiety and is fearful of loud noises and new places. His foster has been doing a lot of work with him. He does not do well being kept in his kennel but likes having one to go relax in. Hes still a puppy and still mouthy so leaving him to roam a whole house while youre gone wouldnt be good. At his foster home he has his big kennel accessible inside a closed room when no one is home and seems to do ok as long as he has a chew bone to occupy himself., but does even better with another trusted dog with him.

Zeus is incredibly smart and picks up on training very fast, even though sometimes his puppyness takes over and he does silly things.

He gets along well with his fellow foster dogs and has a strong connection with the corgi of the house. Hes a little too interested in the cat of the house but his foster mom thinks hell outgrow that as he matures or if a more self aware cat puts him in his place

He loves car rides, pupcups, and quiet parks or hikes, especially with a fellow canine friend. Hes a big boy and can get nervous so lots of positive reinforcement for this pup.

Zeus is great with his human foster brother but very much needs space and time to get used to new kiddos. Hes a big floofy boy with lots of energy and he loves romping around but isnt always aware of where his legs and tail are so he can be a little clumsy.

You can apply to meet him at ricopetrecovery.org. Adoption fee is $350
