My name is Moana!

Meet Moana. Moana is a beautiful 2-1/2 month-old, 11lb mixed breed puppy with the shiniest black coat. She is all black except for the white hair on her chest, paws, and the tip of her tail. Moana is fostered with her two siblings, Maui and Sina. Based on the look of the litter as a whole and their temperament, they are likely to be some sort of Lab mix with maybe some Australian Shepard, but with “mystery puppies”, it’s truly anyone’s guess.

True to her name, Moana is adventurous and playful. She loves to roughhouse with her brother and sister. She plays hard until nap time and then she settles down nicely. She also sleeps through the night, cuddled up with her litter mates. She is fostered with a female Bassett Hound, who she loves. At 11 pounds, Moana is likely to be a medium to large sized dog when fully grown. She is not particularly vocal at this point. She uses puppy pads reliably in the pen and is ready to start potty training. Like all puppies, Moana will need to be taught boundaries and routine, but she seems to be pretty intelligent and quick to catch on. All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
