Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maui. Maui is a handsome 2-1/2 month-old, 14lb mixed breed puppy with the most beautiful crème colored coat. Maui has been fostered with his two sisters, Moana and Sina. Based on the look of the litter as a whole and their temperament, they are likely to be some sort of Lab mix with maybe some Australian Shepard, but with “mystery puppies”, it’s truly anyone’s guess.
Maui is quite the sweetheart. He is probably the most assertive of his littermates, romping and wrestling; but then loves to snuggle up with his foster mom when playtime is over. He sleeps through the night, cuddled up with his litter mates. He is fostered with a female Bassett Hound, who he loves. At 14 pounds, Maui is likely to be a medium to large sized dog when fully grown. He is the most vocal of his siblings, but not excessively. He is just going to let you know if he wants your attention. He has the cutest little puppy howl. He uses puppy pads reliably in the pen and is ready to start potty training. Like all puppies, Maui will need to be taught boundaries and routine, but he seems to be pretty intelligent and quick to catch on. If you think that an active and adorable little puppy like Maui would be a good fit for you/family and you can provide the kind of loving home that he deserves, please apply today.
Maui is fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His adoption fee is $400.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
