Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buffy is a 12 week old kitten looking for her forever home after being surrendered with her littermates and two adult female cats. Buffy looks to be some sort of a Bengal mix because of her bold spotted markings and vocal active behavior but we can't say for sure what she is (mom was a black DSH cat with teal/green eyes). Buffy would be a great addition to any family looking for an active kitten and she could go home with or without her brother, Xander. Her adoption fee is $125 and she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and felv/fiv negative. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov or stop by during our open business hours to meet her.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
