My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorilla…such a soulful & fun boy. Nose was to the ground as we checked out the whole yard. It's like he has never had a toy…they were all his favorites and he bounced around chasing them having a blast! He deserves someone to love him forever!

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
