My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sassy was brought to the shelter after her family left her in her house for several weeks with no food or water. She was eating used diapers to stay alive and there's absolutely no reason a sweet girl like her should ever be put through that. Sassy is an older girl, estimated between 7-8 years, and she is very sweet and loving. She would make an amazing pet for most family dynamics. We have not cat tested her yet, but she was supposed to be around one in the home. Sassy will be getting fixed and her vaccines updated. Once that is done, she will be available to be someone's loving pet. Her adoption fee is $150 with an approved application.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
