Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Tater an 18-month-old bunny in a bully dog body. Although we've had him since he was a puppy, my older dog has decided he is not welcome, and with a toddler around, I can't have them disagreeing. We know Tater's mom was a medium-sized blue Frenchie, based on his appearance and goofiness we're guessing dad was a pitbull-type dog. He's about 50lbs, fully vetted, easy going, crate and house trained, loves his other dog friends, respects the cats if they stand their ground, but will chase if they run (won't hurt them, just annoy them). He's good on a leash, responsive to treat training, and eager to please. I have no doubt he will continue to thrive with a new family. He's been great with kids thus far, but he does bounce like a boxer, so maybe older kids are best.
I have not come to this decision lightly; he is a loved member of the family, and I'm heartbroken that my senior dog has decided he can't share our home.
