My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cadie was found at 5 months in the middle of a busy street. A kind stranger called Cause for Paws for help. Needless to say, she is now a part of the Cause for Paws family. She will be available for adoption the middle of February. Cadie is energetic and loves to play with her foster buddy, Yoongi. The minute she sees you she will start to purr. She loves attention and people. If you are interested in meeting Cadie please call our voicemail at 952-259-1483 and leave your name and telephone number or email us at cause4paws@hotmail.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $175. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.

Go meet their pets

If someone is interested in seeing one of our cats, arrangements can be made to meet this cat.

More about this rescue

Cause for Paws is a Minnesota nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization founded in 1998. It is a small all-volunteer group of friends who love cats and want to make a difference for cats in our community. The small group's main focus is helping stray and abandoned cats and kittens find loving, permanent homes. Cats are fostered in volunteers' homes; there is no shelter facility. The goal of every Cause for Paws adoption is a home where the cat and the other family members -- both two-legged and four-legged -- will thrive. Prior to adoption, all cats are examined by a veterinarian,
Felv/fiv tested, vaccinated (including rabies and distemper),
spayed or neutered, microchipped and registered, fostered in a volunteer foster home to determine the kitty’s personality, and received treatment for flea/parasite prevention. As funds allow, Cause for Paws also provides spay/neuter assistance for owned cats in the community, through its Cause for Paws Spay/Neuter Subsidy Program. The work of Cause for Paws is funded entirely by donations.
