My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm ROSIE, a Beautiful 6 month old female kitten! Are you wanting a Gorgeous, Soft, Faithful, loving Companion to keep your lap warm? How about a Gentle, Quiet Furball that you can stroke and pet all day long to relieve your stress? Well Look no further, You found ME!

I'm a lap kitty that prefers to be in your lap, laying on your chest, or snuggled up by your side! I'm happiest just BEING WITH my Hooman. I'm not a huge play kitty although I will engage with Laser toys or feathers on a wand. Ill play if you will play with me. I'm more of a "ground dweller" and not a big climber. I'm a little timid when first meeting people. But give me 30 mins or so, be gentle with me, and soon I'll be crawling into you lap begging for attention and turning on my Purr-engine! I'm good with respectful, gentle children and Love to lay in their lap as well!

I've already been spayed, been microchipped, have had my Rabies and other vaccinations. So I'm READY for my Forever family! I eat both wet food and dry kibble and LOVE treats! I will come running if you shake the treat bag! I'm a very proper young lady and use my litter box exclusively! I am FeLv positive, so need to be the ONLY kitten/Cat in the house or I can be with other FeLv's kittens/cats or I can also live with dogs.

Do you have room in your home and heart for me, Miss Rosie? I have Lots of Love to Share with you and promise to be your most loyal and loving FurChild! Please fill out the Adoption Application so we can meet up. The application doesn't lock you in to adopting me, but it gives my foster Mom notice that you are interested in finding out more about me and possibly making me a member of your family!

Purrs and Head Bonks,
~Rosie

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.

Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.

questions.

If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
