Hi!
I am Rufus!

I am a very sweet orange kitty! I love sitting in cat trees, basking in the sun coming in through a window and watching the birds and squirrels outside. I am so happy to be inside again!

I was rescued in Detroit. My human passed away about 2 years ago so myself and the rest of my fellow kitties have been wandering the streets. We found a caretaker who was feeding cats and we began to eat there outside. She realized we were friendly and reached out to PAAW to help us and now we are ready for our next forever home!

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
